Mufti Syed Mohammad Alam Madari

Mufti Syed Mohammad Alam Madari is a Hafiz-e-Qur'an, Qari, Alim and Mufti, and holds a PhD in Hadith. He answers questions of Islamic law from Makanpur Shareef, Kanpur Nagar, and his written rulings, books and recorded talks reach people across India and beyond. He also runs the Aghaziya Welfare Society, which does the same duty off the page: medicine, food, school fees and help for families who cannot manage on their own.

His answers deal with what people actually ask: how to pray while travelling, what a contract may and may not say, what is owed to parents and neighbours, how to keep a home on the right path. Each answer is given plainly, with its sources, and nobody is made to feel small for asking.

The welfare society is the part of that work you can see. Medicine handed over, a month's ration carried into a house where it had run out, a fee paid so a child is not taken out of school, help sent where a sudden hardship left a family with nothing. It is done quietly, week after week, as a duty rather than a favour.

He also teaches on two YouTube channels: full lectures on Ummat Ki Zarurat, and short answers and clips on the official channel. They reach people who would never open a book of fiqh but will watch a three-minute answer on their phone.
